My Philosophy

Grindfulness
/ˈgraɪnd-fəl-nəs/

Definition: Slow, steady, intentional action rooted in presence and awareness.

Grindfulness came from a conversation after a springtime soccer session with my nephew. Living slowly, intentionally, and mindfully has been an important part of my work as an acupuncturist and as a mother. (My son is incredibly mindful and once spend five hours moving slugs off of the road after a rainstorm). However, I felt that only being mindful without acknowledging hard work and grit and sometimes the uncomfortable “grind” wasn’t the full story – Hence GRINDFULNESS.
